The Ritz-Carlton Residences Istanbul

Sisli, Istanbul, Türkiye

Located in Nişantaşı, one of Istanbul's premium residential areas, known for its vibrant luxury shopping and restaurant scene, this property holds a prime city-center position.

The Valikonağı building, one of Istanbul's first high-rise buildings, was constructed in the 1970s by architects Doğan Tekeli and Sami Sisa. Valikonağı A.Ş., the owner of the freehold property, was acquired by BLG in June 2014 off-market for a 3,716 m² redevelopment opportunity.

Tanju Özelgin, who also designed Soho House Istanbul, is the architect of the restoration project.

The redeveloped project will be a significant supplier of high-quality residential, office and retail space in the highly sought-after Nişantaşı neighborhood. There are 121 residential units including 6 Penthouse Triplexes and 8 Garden Duplexes with Bosphorus views and private pools. Significant retail and office/studio spaces are available on Valikonağı Avenue and Hakkı Yeten Avenue.

Premium amenities include gym and spa areas, valet parking service, concierge services, outdoor children's playground and indoor swimming pool.

In February 2019, BLG signed a licensing agreement with Ritz-Carlton to brand the project as Ritz-Carlton Residences Istanbul. Construction has been completed and operations have commenced. The Ritz-Carlton team is currently working on sales of residential units.
