Rosewood The Raleigh
Miami Beach

Located on the famed Collins Avenue in the heart of South Miami Beach, the redevelopment of the Raleigh Hotel presents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to reintroduce to the world a property that is historically iconic, yet tastefully modernized. BLG acquired the Raleigh Hotel in an off-market transaction, recognizing its prime redevelopment potential.

Hailed as a “Grand Dame” of South Beach Art Deco, The Raleigh is a perfect blend of style, comfort, and legendary Art Deco glamour. Originally built in 1940 by architect Lawrence Murray Dixon, the hotel has stood as an architectural and design icon throughout the years. Embracing the innovative spirit of its original architect, the proposed redevelopment and repositioning program, led by renowned architects Peter Marino and Kobi Karp, will restore The Raleigh to its former glory as a symbol of style and luxury, not only in Miami Beach but around the world.

Combined, the existing site consists of the Raleigh Hotel, Richmond Hotel and South Seas Hotel which are situated on 132,529 square feet or 3.04 acres of land with available far of 265,058 square feet (available development rights) and boast approximately 200 linear land feet on South Beach’s most prolific beach frontage. The property boasts an enviable location, with 100 feet of beach frontage on South Miami’s primary strip. It is home to Miami’s most iconic swimming pool, originally constructed for the famed actress and swimmer Ester Williams. Her renowned swimming routines at the Raleigh pool brought fame to the hotel, which has since been repeatedly labeled as the most stunning pool in America. With its art deco design and lavish pool parties, the Raleigh pool continues to captivate guests.

In addition to its rich history, the Raleigh Hotel offers a range of modern amenities. The property spans a size of 15,344 square meters and features 44 residences and 60 hotel suites, providing guests with a luxurious and comfortable stay. Other facilities include restaurants, a spa, a gym, event spaces, and a convenient car park.

With the combination of its historic significance, tasteful modernization, and an array of top-notch facilities, the Raleigh Hotel promises an unforgettable experience for visitors and establishes itself as a premier destination in Miami Beach, Florida.

In 2021, BLG sold its interests and no longer has a management role in Rosewood The Raleigh Miami Beach, while retaining its share in any future profits derived from Rosewood The Raleigh Miami Beach.
